UCCS Farm Mission: To provide a diversity of nutritious, organically-grown produce used in thoughtful ways to educate the campus community. The campus farm strives to demonstrate sustainable organic gardening methods and ecologically sound land stewardship, and to utilize a variety of innovative as well as traditional farming practices to produce delicious, nutritious organic fruits and vegetables for the UCCS community.

Join us for open volunteer times at the UCCS Farm, where you can get hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, connect with nature, and support campus sustainability efforts.

When: Wednesdays 11 am - 3 pm 


How to Get Started:

  1. Fill out the Volunteer Waiver Form or Minor Volunteer Waiver Form

  2. Email the UCCS Farm -Note the days and times that work best for you. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
  3. Show up and help us grow! When you arrive at the farm, farmers will either be in the gardens or the farmhouse.

Parking and Transportation:

No experience? No problem! Whether you're planting, harvesting, composting, or helping with farm maintenance, there’s something for everyone. Volunteering at the farm is a great way to learn new skills, meet like-minded individuals, and contribute to a greener UCCS.

Come ready to dig in—just bring closed-toe shoes, a water bottle, and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
